Emotion and Emotion Regulation in Social Contexts
In this line of research I am interested in how emotions shape and are shaped by our social interactions.
In particular I am interested in questions such as
Why do we regulate the emotions of others?
Are couples that have similar emotional goals more satisfied?
How do we best use our social resources to manage our emotional lives?
